Rehabilitation & Disability-Assessment & On-road Evaluation
- Having over seven years of experience in the rehabilitation and disability driving industry with vehicles equipped with hand-control systems as well as being recognized as a Driving Rehabilitation Specialist, Right Way will evaluate the client's cognitive capabilities through basic paper assessments. Right Way will also conduct an on-road evaluation with the client after demonstrating maneuvers and within a parking lot or secure/safe area. The drive begins and ends from the client's home, school, or preapproved location.
- Online driver education classroom course and additional driving lessons are scheduled upon completion of assessment and evaluation.

Teen/Adult Final Only - Parent 5/RW 1 (Final)
- Parent assists with 5 out of 6 driving lessons.
- Having certified driving instructors, Right Way teaches the Final Driving Lesson. Drives begin and end from the student's home, school, or preapproved location. Some exclusions apply.
- Online 30-hour classroom included ($5 Registration Fee).

Pick-Up & Drop-Off Service
Your son or daughter will be picked up and dropped off from home, school, or a preapproved location. Some restrictions may apply due to travel distance. If you are located more than a few miles outside of the downtown area of Cedar Rapids/Marion, we will meet at Oakland Church located on 42nd Street in Cedar Rapids.
Final Driving Lesson - This drive must be taught by one of our certified driving instructors. This lesson determines whether the student has passed or failed the behind-the-wheel driving portion of the course by testing them through all driving levels. If they pass, their driver education certificate is released to the DOT. If they fail, another Final Driving Lesson must be scheduled.
Driving Lessons Explained
The state requires six hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons. Our program has been state-approved to allow parents to teach all driving lessons but the last one.
Downtown, Parking, Highway, and Interstate Driving Lessons - Once you register, you will receive detailed instructions regarding each driving lesson. These guide you through what needs to be addressed during each driving lesson. You are not doing it alone. We are here to help!
